Midfield Terminal Project at IND
Client: Indianapolis Airport Authority (IND)
Prime: Ross & Baruzzini
The $1.1-billion upgrade of Indianapolis International Airport was reportedly the largest project in the city’s history. The 1.2-million-sq-ft Midfield Terminal is the centerpiece. Highlights include two 1,300-ft concourses, 40 gates, 96 counter positions and 200-ft-diameter Civic Plaza.
Creelman provided design and construction administrative services for technology packages, including field inspections of IT equipment, systems testing, and submittal reviews. We participated in progress meetings between the owner and its contractors. We also coordinated with other designers and systems integrators as directed by the Owner.
