Prime: Hartsfield Planning Collaborative (a joint venture led by HNTB)

The Hartsfield Planning Collaborative managed the Capital Improvement Projects by providing architectural and engineering planning support services necessary to facilitate the construction of various airfield, terminal, concourse, roadway and related support facilities.

Under the Incident Command Process Improvement Planning task, we provided a comprehensive set of Standard Operating Procedures, Training Guidelines, and Job Descriptions for the Centralized Command and Control Center (C4).

Under the Big Bird 2009-Tabletop and Full-Scale Exercises task, the City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation sponsored the Big Bird Full-Scale Exercise (FSE), which was designed to establish a learning environment for players to exercise and be assessed on the implementation of their respective emergency response plans, policies, and procedures as they pertain to a plane crash incident at the airport. To conduct an effective exercise, SMEs and local representatives from a number of agencies took part in the planning process and supported exercise conduct and evaluation.
